Why should you get to know iFun?

Condensing my personality into a profile is like capturing a storm in a teacup. It requires a miracle defying all logic. However, as anyone who has known me for more than two minutes might tell you, such things are known to happen. Because I exist. I create. I experience.

I exist, and therefore am living proof of God’s existence.

I create. I create relationships, ideas and possibilities.
Everything I do, I do in its totality. When I love, I don’t do it by half. Nobody says, “Half of me loves half of you.” I aim for totality and integrity in the things I do and say. A fullness, as it were.
So, I will not say, “I love you” with my mouth, and then lie through that same mouth. I cannot do anything to contradict the deepest promises that I have made. Some things are still sacred, I think.

I experience. Life is hitting me from all directions, and though I love getting swept up in it, I also live in the eye of the tempest – where there is peace. I am highly, highly responsive (some have used the word sensual) to whatever I am exposed to. But I know better than to be moved too far from my center.

That’s it. A threefold ministry. A trinity. Exist – create – experience.

Is it a holy trinity? I don’t know. I’ve been known to have a one night stand. Or two. Thousand.

Still.

I exist.

I create.

And I experience.

He describes his ideal match thus:

I’m looking for warmth.

If the warmth goes away after a while, then it was never really warmth. At the least, it was not warmth in its totality.

So I’m looking for lasting warmth. This is permanence. But there can be no permanence where there is no stability. And there is no stability where there is no honesty. There is no honesty where there is no faithfulness. And there is no faithfulness where there is no consistency.

Consistency can become monotony – unless it is offset by a measure of excitement. There is no excitement where there is no fun. There is no fun where there is no chemistry. There is no chemistry where there is no mutual attraction. There is no attraction where there is no attractiveness. There is no attractiveness where there is no effort towards attractiveness. This is where warm becomes hot becomes burning a hole through the bedsheets. And the floor. And the sofa.

Back to the lasting warmth offset by excitement... It's great. But we cannot remain in the same place. Where we are is good – but not if we stay there. Then the permanent warmth becomes stagnation. So there must be growth. There is no growth where there is no movement. Movement is no good if there is no direction. Direction is meaningless where there is no purpose. We must have a shared vision for the relationship, pure and simple.

With all this warmth stuff, someone may be envisioning floral patterns on everything. Sorry. I’m male and enjoy being such. I just like to share a lot of warmth. With another man. Isn’t masculinity synonymous with warmth?

Warmth is forgiving, like grace. Grace is not permission to sin, but it is room to be human.

Warmth is a characteristic of life, and of joy, and peace, and intimacy. Love never, ever should hurt. Love never, ever should leave you lying awake at night, wondering how much longer it will last. Love never, ever should leave the slightest doubt in your mind that This Is It.
