Why should you get to know CandleSpirit?
I've been busy with changing jobs and moving house, but now I can focus on finding someone to share these changes with. I'm still hopeful that my life partner IS out there, somewhere. I am 37 and I'm looking for a long term relationship and marriage, so if you are not interested in long term commitment, then I am not interested in you :-) I have travelled a lot so I'm very passionate about that. I love warm places and the sun - rainy and cold places is not my cup of tea.
I have been engaged once but never married and I don't have children. I like to stick to a healthy lifestyle which includes wholesome food and exercise, although it gets a bit harder in winter time with all that hot chocolate going round...
I am a strict non smoker, so only non-smokers may reply. I enjoy the outdoors in summer and on cold days I like to stay in with a good book or watch a movie. I am a spiritualist, which means I believe in a Higher Benevolent Power, but I don't subscribe to ANY religion. So if you are a religious fanatic or an atheists, we are not going to get along. I'm not into large noisy crowds and sports, but consider myself a private person. I prefer nature and the outdoors. I have many interest and have done a lot of things in my life, but that does not include drugs or alcohol abuse and I would expect the same from my life partner.
I have lived and worked in the USA for a few years and have fallen in love with the Southwest. (No, not the airline, although they are pretty cool too!) I am hoping to make America my permanent home someday.
I have a good sense of humor, but sometimes I need some cheering up. I am independent, but sometimes I need a shoulder to cry on. I am brave, but sometimes I need some encouragement. I don't expect my partner to complete me, but I do want someone to share my life with. I believe I have worked through my baggage / issues and I'm very comfortable in my own skin.
